FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

TeamBridge App

Q: What if my next shift begins on Sunday, 1/30/22 and ends on Monday, 1/31/22?
A: Continue using the Zira app to clock in and out for any shifts that begin prior to Monday, 1/31/22. Then begin using the TeamBridge app for any shift that begins on or after 1/31/22.

Q: I downloaded the new app—now what?
A: Once you’ve installed TeamBridge, you’ll need to log in as an existing user with the same email and password you used for Zira (do not register as a new account).

You may be prompted to receive push notifications. We highly recommend you enable them so you can receive any important messages, including shift reminders, available shifts you can claim, and more. You can always change these settings in your device’s settings later.

You’ll be prompted to enable location permissions—depending on your device, you can choose between allowing location permissions all the time, only while using the app, or just one time (ask every time). Enabling location is important for clocking in and out of your shifts at a facility.

Once you log in, you’ll see the home screen, clock-in screen, and your schedule. You can also review your profile information and view various pages and documents.

Q: I disabled location permissions. What should I do?
A: TeamBridge will only allow you to clock in and out of shifts if you have location permissions enabled. If you didn’t enable them when prompted in the app, you can long-press on the app icon (or go to your device’s app settings and find the TeamBridge app), open the app’s settings, and enable location permissions there. You can choose between allowing location permissions all the time, only while using the app, or to ask every time.

Q: Why the new app?
A: TeamBridge is the next iteration of Zira, designed by the same team. This is an all new app and needs to be downloaded and installed all on its own (it’s not an update to the Zira app). You’ll find a familiar experience with some added features—and many more exciting features are planned for the near future! TeamBridge is designed to be easier, more flexible, and better than ever!

Q: Can I still use Zira?
A: Beginning 7am EST on Monday, 1/31/22, VitalHire will no longer be using the original Zira app. You’ll need to use the new TeamBridge app to clock in and out, and to see your shifts. Once you get TeamBridge up and running, feel free to uninstall Zira.

Q: I forgot and accidentally used Zira—what do I do?
A: If you accidentally used Zira instead of TeamBridge on or after Monday, 1/31/22, one of our team members will reach out to you to assist you. Don’t worry, you’ll still get paid! But it’s crucial that everyone remembers to use the new app exclusively.

Q: What if I have issues or questions?
